Djairouks:
Today I was riding on the highway and first the speed regulator didn't want to engage at all and then I got power losses at 140kmh !!!

This is pretty worrying, anyone had this happen on a gen 3 ?

healdem:
id want to check power
check the voltage whilst running

if its not in the usual 14 to 14.5v range then id want to go through the usual

check battery is OK
check the rectifier
check the alternator
...and porobaby in that order.

Yes that's what I immediately checked, battery is fine I've been riding for the last 3 days, voltages seem good to, but gradually the cruise control would sometime engage sometimes not in the last days, thought it to be an issue of cold bike mornings.

I've also noticed that changing the driving mode during riding is impossible, letting the throttle go to 0 does not validate the selection, but if I turn the engine off and change mode, it works...

I think it's either the throttle having problems or somehow a mapping issue.
I'm not taking any chances it's at the dealer, they said they think mapping is the culprit, will give updates when they'll manage to check it.

I recall testing the upper limit of the cruise control and if I remember correctly, it automatically cuts out at around 160km/hr. You might have possibly  had this happen.

No I was between 130-140kmh and anyway it refused to engage even at lower speeds, mechanic called me shortly after my visit and told me, that it's apparently the button cluster being the culprit.
