There are several threads on this forum addressing this question. I'm using Chinese made levers found on eBay. They are well made and economical.

I did wonder yesterday, 800 (gen 1 or 2/3 as different levers required) or 900. :027:  Most members have their bike model listed below their username as it does usually help clarify. :002:
Also owned my 1979 Bonnie T140E from new!

Ordered a pair of C5 ASV's for my GT.

Prob won't get round to fitting them for a couple of weeks but will report back when I have.

I tried with asv and even if they said it's suppose to fit it didn't and had to reship them.

They haven't arrived yet but I'll give the supplier a shout and see if they can confirm before I try and fit them.

Update on the asv levers.

Clutch lever was straight swop, no issues.

Brake lever didn't reach brake light switch meaning brake light was constantly on.

Sending them back.
