Could have been worse, back in the early 80s I had a mate (not me for a change) who was drilling a bit of wood resting on his lap.

Went straight through and also managed to pierce his todger badly enough to need hospital for a couple of days. I don't think Prince Alberts were in vogue back then.

Moral of the story is that as humans we have an infinite ability to do stupid things and however hard you try something will go wrong eventually.

That cheered me up!!!  :492: :492: :492:

To add insult to injury my BBFLy Pro Lead just arrived!
I somehow don't think it has in the menus an ability to fix a hole drilled through the ECU???????

As you have a XRx which is 'gen 2' Tiger I think it is slightly different position to the 'gen 1' Tiger of Mumbai. If you remove your rider seat basically it is next to the battery (running parallel) under the long plastic snorkel to the air filter that sits next to the left side frame rail. :028:

On speaking to service guys at Bulldog Triumph...

I have pulled the trigger on a used ECU and they will encode and flash. Apparently straight forward and less than an hours
work!

Holding thumbs this is the case  :084:

The bike is booked in for the 30th. Now to run around and find a motorbike trailer.

Cheers

Depending on whether you're hoping to borrow or hire a trailer regarding cost did you ask Bulldog about the cost and possibility of collection, most dealers I know have a big van for bike transportation, my dealer uses a long wheelbase Mercedes. :084:

We did discuss collection however it would have added another week to my wait.

I will try rent a trailer locally. Fortunately I have a towbar on my vehicle.
