Yeah it took me a while to notice it but once I did I can't not see it.  I'm going to bitch pretty loudly when I take it in for the first service.  Then I'll fill the damned thing.

I have a brand new Powerbronze one for sale if any one would like to make an offer. Carbon fibre finish and in unopened packaging.

I'm in Canada so shipping would probably kill any value for it. Otherwise I'd probably take you up on it.

Why not use it?

:005: .... 175 and they can't even put up a picture to show what it looks like on a bike, even the instructions only show the mount bracket on the rear wheel spindle. Also I'm a bit dubious (with the 800, don't know the 900) as it states 'ensure the flat washer is refitted' and on mine their isn't many threads showing through the nut without stuffing a bracket under it also.  :027:
Also owned my 1979 Bonnie T140E from new!

I know, and im not sure it will keep the sh*t off the underside either.

Good point.

Further unconvinced now

That's my main concern too, and from some google searches it appears to be very hit and miss as to whether people think they work.  I don't need to shell out $200 for a piece of plastic that doesn't do anything useful.

I used to have a GS with the spray guard ? My understanding was that it was a safety guard to protect people from the rear wheel and was a German requirement,to be honest I do think the GS  was  cleaner around the rear end than on my tiger, maybe it's that nasty oily chain thing thrashing about  :007:
