Help with clutch cable please
« on: March 19, 2021, 03:54:07 PM »
Hi,
I was in the process of putting the OE levers back on.
Stupidly I didnt take pictures when removing the aftermarket one.
Im now left with how it is on the photo. Could somebody please explain how this should look?
Does the clutch cable go through the gap on the lock nut, and how should it look when assembled?
Sorry for the ridiculous question.
Thanks, Matt

Yep cable goes through the gap in the nut - think you have to disconnect at lower clutch end, connect to clutch lever then connect clutch end last
Hope that helps

you do not need to touch the other end of the cable. Just screw in the lock nut, hook cable end into the lever and then adjust the cable, make sure that the gap in the nut and the gap in the lever do not align and you're fine. I'd apply some grease on the nippel, makes it easier to move
