Scottoil Traveller
« on: March 20, 2021, 10:19:08 AM »
Has anyone fitted the Scottoil Traveller to their Tiger? I've just ordered one as the reservoir is a bit of a git to get at. Looks easy enough to hide under the seat.

I haven't got one, but  :0461: with you its a great idea and should be easy enough to stash somewhere under the passenger seat. I will be ordering one as soon as I can find one in Australia.

Let us know how you get on once it arrives  :028:

Will do mate. Should be here in a couple of days and looks easy enough to fit.

Where is your std reservoir located? Mine is under rear seat fixed to the side, easy access.
Current bikes Tiger800 XRx, Tiger Sport 1050, Ariel FH 650, Yam Serow 225.

Mine is on the frame behind the end can. It was already fitted when I bought the bike. According to the service history it was installed by the dealer when it was purchased new.

I fitted mine in-place of the oem air filter snorkel after fitting a pre-filter, so under the front seat. Its not that difficult to get to but if I have to do it less often it sounds like a good idea. :028:

Mine was fitted by the dealer from new to the left side pannier frame - piece of cake to check and fill and tucked on the inside so it is reasonably well out of harms way and not in the way of the pannier if want that on.

Keeps nice & clean in here, with easy access. The traveller might be handy on longer tours, save carrying a small bottle. Where you thinking of putting it?

Your Scottoiler looks different to mine, is it an electronic version? Mines the standard type

It's going to sit where the tool kit was. I removed it off the bike as it's got sod all that you're going to use if you break down anyway.
