It's loose in the small tray at the base of the oiler.

Brill. I've moved the oiler to under the seat but I've got the panniers with a rail going through the centre under the seat I've managed to do a rough fitting for tonight. The clear tube was brittle as hell so I've managed to find some in my shed from God knows where and it's a good fit. I've run it down under the airbox snorkel and through a hold at the bottom and then into the swingarm near the rear shock and out again near the rear sprocket. I didn't however have a long enough piece of the black vacuum hose, so I've cut 1" of the spare tubing, and flares the edges on the vacuum hose and added a spare piece that I had from installing a scottoiler on a previous bike. Looks sound enough. I'm not using the bike again until Wednesday so hopefully the new unit will be here by then and I can tidy up the installation.

Scottoil sent me the reservoir today so it's now fitted and the bag next to it. Hopefully I won't get any leaks now. The bag has air pockets in the tube which I didn't have before so maybe that's a good sign and they should disappear when the bike is running. I've set the flow rate to the centre for now and I'll check it properly on Friday when I'm off work.
They also sent me a free Scottoil buff
Gotta love a company that stands by its products and has excellent customer service.

The bag says around 2500 miles. Not sure about the reservoir though.

3.2 miles ride to work this morning. Checked under the seat while engine was running and the air pockets have been drawn into the reservoir, so it appears it's all sorted.

Perseverance won, nice one. Dunno what traveller holds, should be good for total 4-5k now. I've had over 2k from std ressie set at 40secs/drip on tour.
I might fit one for my next tour, if we're ever allowed.
