Tyre - recommendations... for fitters in Warwickshire
«

Hi All,
Have a desire to get rid of the CST CSM509 tyres that came on my pre-owned 800xc. Have a good idea as to what I want to replace with...
Does anyone have any recommendations for either supply and fit, or just fit (if I mail order) tyres in and around Warwick/Coventry/Stratford area?
Cheers all - looking forward to the 29th when we can ride again! :-)

It's not great for bike tyres round here. I've used Protyre and Arden Motorcycles in Alcester, Blade Triumph in Stratford and Chapman-Tyrell Racing in Evesham; all were fine for service but pricey. It might be worth your while heading up to Wheel House Tyres in Coleshill.

Wheel House would be my recommendation too. Very good to deal with

Hi. Last 3 sets of tyres supplied and fitted by behind bars in Kenilworth. Andy there will sort you, supplying and fitting tyres, including balance and chain adjustments, better prices than wheelhouse too

I'm in Tamworth, 500 metres from Warwickshire. Tyre Link in Tamworth is my preferred supplier/fitter.

Just a quick note to everyone to say thanks for all the help and advice received on this forum. I know have a new pair of Avon Trailriders, fitted this morning at Wheel House Tyres whilst I ate a bacon, sausage and egg bap!
The Trailriders already feel much better - far easier to tip in than the CSTs. And they got warm - something the CSTs never did!
And - £30 cashback on the Avons as well, which will pretty much cover the cost of fitting.
Happy days!

Something to note on the Trail riders. I don't know if there was a dodgy batch but some rears wore very quickly. You could see a band on the middle of the tire. I trashed a rear in 2.200 MLS ! tread was down to wear marks. This was on a heavier bike mind Super There but still not expecting that. Just for the record am running Dunlop Trailmax Meridian and they are a really nice tire.
