Can you buy a new headlamp plastic front mine has melted by having it ticking over and leaving the cover over the light, the heat could not disperse lesson learned

It looks as though the headlight shell and lenses only come as one complete (expensive) unit!

There's a unit with a damaged rear casing for £79 on eBay - other than that they are all £250 plus.
maybe time to consider a Matt Gecko LED replacement headlight !

Thankfully damaged headlights appear a rarity which is just as well as second hand units are just as rare. When I looked there were 2 damaged units on ebay and the 1 decent second hand serviceable light unit is on there for £4 more than a new assembly from Triumph, plus £12 P&P.

However if you do some serious searching, AIR, there was a member who had a similar situation recently, possibly 2nd half of last year, who managed to obtain a damaged unit from another forum member and I think was hoping to successfully remove and swop the front perspex piece. Might be worth searching out and finding out if he was successful.
