Tiger 800 from Melbourne Oz
« on: March 29, 2021, 07:20:33 AM »
G'day, aretee3 here from Oz.  Just purchased a mint 2011 800 roadie after doing 1500klm  over a long weekend on my '95 Speed Trip and realising that I'm too old for that crap anymore.
Other bikes are '78 SR500, '83 Yam Tenere, '73 Yam RT3 and a YB100.  The Speed Trip will be leaving the shed shortly.
I'll be searching for info on centre stands and other modifications shortly
cheers

Welcome aboard!
is the Tenere a single or the twin?

Re: Centrestand - XC would work, after cut-down.  Only need the rear wheel/tyre to 'just' clear the ground.
