His name is David Jones but he operates his business under the name Muddysump. He is a Triumph trained mechanic who used to work at a major Triumph dealership in NE England before deciding to start working on his own. He has a fairly unique business model in that he is mobile and travels all over mainland Britain servicing Triumph bikes. He arranges multiple servicing jobs in an area of the country and travels there in his van to complete these jobs.

The quality of his work is top class and he always ensures that every service operation is completed. Since he doesnt have high overheads for premises etc, his prices are very competitive. He is somewhat reluctant to service the latest generation of Triumph models (especially those with TFT displays) because he doesnt have the software to fully complete the work. Having said that, most of the work doesnt need the software, so as long as an owner recognises and accepts which service operations will not be done, then he will service those bikes.

Can't add more than that really...nice guy..lovely dog! Top work.

Have a look at you-tube...some really good tutorials by him on there.

One of my fork seals went and drained out through the winter, probably would have had to trailer it somewhere, but David did them here when he serviced the bike.

He has a bunch of videos on Youtube that have been invaluable to me over here in Canada over the years.  I don't think he's made any in a while but they worked for my 2012 model and I've used them a ton.

Davids DOG is called VINCENT, and he lives in the VAN with him......., hence Vincent van Dog..., classic!
David is also rather partial to the odd bacon roll.., or two.., or three.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Some poems rhyme,
But this one doesnt.
