correct, trouble is SW Motech stopped doing the necessary rack apparently, judging from the German website of course. They used to do a steel rack as well which I have on my 2013 Tiger, with the proper fittings I can use my Givi panniers as topcase, quite handy...

Thank you T800XC

Since I got into ADV riding not long ago, I'm tying to budget buying, looking for cheap solutions for top case and side cases/luggages. But I have zero knowledge around this topic no idea with what is compatible.

Can you send a picture of what the rear of your bike looks like? The piece you show is an accessory to an aftermarket rack, so I wonder why someone should have that without that specific rack.

Sure, here it is.
Could you help me out as well, what could I use on the sides? for example for soft luggages, any easy solutions?

Looks like the old alu rack from sw motech, it's just a rack, for panniers you need separate pannier frames

The "extra" black bits on the bike are the bike parts of the SW-motech Quick-lock side rack system: https://sw-motech.com/en/bike/TRIUMPH/Tig800/2010/A08/products/luggage/side+carrier/PRO+side+carrier/4052572051368.htm
