800 standard suspension
« on: May 06, 2021, 10:50:12 PM »
Hi all. Just joined and have myself a 2014 tiger 800 abs. My question is, how do I tell if the rear has been lowered? The front forks are about 300 through the top yolk which I find unusual and will correct this weekend.
I believe that differently sized dog bones can be installed at the rear to vary the rear ride height, does anybody know what length standard ones are centre to centre?
Many thanks. And apologies if I missed a similar thread that might answer my question.

Standard Rear 'Dogbone' links are 6"/152mm centre-to-centre.
I somehow doubt that the front forks are '300' above the top yoke - typo?

Thanks, Yes typo, 30mm would be more accurate! many thanks for the dimensions, I'll have a measure up this evening.
