Your speed must be controlled by feathering the clutch and/or back brake.
Once you've done it you'll wonder what all the fuss was about.
Oh, and your Tiger will do it perfectly for you.
Go for it.

All sound advice and it will be a second attempt on the Mod 1 for me due to me being too slow on the Hazard Avoidance. The test U turn was no issue on the CB650 and practice runs in my favourite car park shows it is relatively easy on the Tiger.

We will see what happens on the day though.

Agreed.

Just have 2 bars of fuel left on the tank and it makes a huge difference due to the Tiger's centre of gravity.

Thanks for that. I have half a tank in there when we tested manouvers on Sunday but have time to run it down.

Update: Mod 1 taken on the Tiger 800 and passed.

It was more of a challenge than the CB650 to manhandle but was far more manoueverable for the slow speed stuff.

Also, far easier to reach the minimum speeds for the Emergency Stop & Hazard Avoidance.

Mod 2 is in just over two weeks time.

Thanks for the feedback though  :417:
