Duda neumáticos

Buenas

Good
I have a problem, since I bought my 2020 XRT, the front tire has not given me any confidence, I do not understand why, every time I ride on a white line or road expansion joint I totally lose the grip, giving the feeling falling, so if it happens during a curve, I instinctively tend to lift the bike.
After the first 3,500 kilometers on the bike, I decided to change the tires as this is not normal.
I have the doubt to change the two tires even if they only have 3,500 km for the Contitrail Atack 110 and 150, or change only the front and put the Metzeler next 110.
That is the doubt to change both, or to change only the forward.
I do not know if the same thing has happened to you, I think it is not normal, on my previous bike I had M Next 110 and 150 mounted, and I had not noticed the feeling that I am telling you.
What I do? Do I change both or just the striker?
Greetings to all
P.S. Excuse the translation, it is with google.

Hi, it isn't you. The topic of Metzeler Tourance Next in 100/90 bias type as supplied from the factory has been discussed hundreds of times here about how they white line. Most owners usually put up with them until they are worn out, because of the cost, and then fit a 110/80 radial tyre to match the radial rear tyre. There are a couple of owners who just swopped the front 100/90 bias to a Tourance Next 110/80 radial and kept the Tourancerear tyre, but most swop both tyres to something better.

On my XRt I went to Michelin Pilot Road 4, then Michelin Road 5 Trail and last week had Continental Trail Attack 3 fitted, all with 110/90R front. Changing to a 110/80R is the best improvement you can do.  :028:

+1 on the Michelin Road 5 Trail.

Even in 2011 the Pirelli Scorpion trails that came on the Tiger were rubbish. What ever it is about factory supplied tyres?

Ioham:

Saludos

My Tourance Next lasted 8000miles/13000km so I would just try the 110/80 R Tourance Next on the front now, then swop to different tyres when the rear is worn out. The front doesn't work well because it is a bias carcass and the rear a radial carcass. I don't know about the later 2020 XRt like yours but the Tourance Next, in 2015, was only fitted to the XRt model probably because they expected owners to have full luggage fitted as the bike came standard with pannier frame, all the other road models had Pirelli Scorpions I think? :027:
