Hi to all...
My question is...can you charge the battery through the auxillary power outlet next to the key switch. :440:

Is the switch "always on" ie voltage when the ignition is off?
if so, then yes

you can I am doing this for years, your bike is the same year than mine

Me too, the original fly lead to the battery was  faulty so I just spliced a hella plug on the end as a temporarary fix two years ago!!
Also DRZ400sm for forest tracks, previous bikes:- Honda SS50, BSA 250SS80, Yamaha RD125, Yamaha TY250, Honda CBR600, Honda Africa Twin XRV750, Kawasaki KMX200, Kawasaki KDX200, Kawasaki KLX250
