Bend or replace ???
« on: June 01, 2021, 11:43:47 AM »
I have noticed some discomfort after an hour + riding, in my wrists. Looking closer I feel the angle of wrist and hand is the cause. The solution, I believe is to bend the bars back around 10-15mm each side. Should I shop around for someone who can do it. Do it myself or replace the bars? Replacing would be preferred, but how can I be sure the angle etc is correct? Bend ? Buy ?

This has been covered a few times and many have swopped for the 1200 Explorer bars. Do a search for similar like 'Explorer bars'.  :028:
Also owned my 1979 Bonnie T140E from new!

Bar risers solved the problem for me.  Moved 20cm rear, and 30cm up.

:430: ... the reply would definitely have been relevant for the 800 .... missed you have a 900, no idea if the 900 bar arrangement is the same. :027:
