First Valve Clearance check at 9 years old !
« on: June 08, 2021, 12:43:19 PM »

Valve clearance check done this week on my 2012 Tiger 800 .
Stripped it down to the  airbox off myself & Muddy Sump then did the valves & shims .
3 shims required also as 3 valve clearances on the tight side  although the mileage is only 14,000 .
All the cams , followers  & the general condition of the head was completely perfect - no wear .
So worth the check & hopefully several more years of trouble free miles.

Complete pleasure to work with Muddy Sump ( David ) on my bike . :064:
