Why do you need to hide spare keys when you are travelling alone? Are you worried about being mugged while walking around after parking up the bike?

I'm always worried about loosing the ignition key when out with a bike and therefore always carry the spare in my motorcycle jacket! In fact, I keep all the spare keys for the motorcycles I ride (x 3) in my jacket!

Don't hide it on your bike. Keep it with you, best on your person like in your jacket. Thieves usually look for hidden keys on bikes first. It easier than trying to hotwire it

Lanyard round your neck, can't lose that unless your head falls off.

A slightly different but related perspective.
Don't have a big bunch of keys with the bike key. If the key gets lost, all the keys get lost, plus there is some evidence to suggest the extra weight of a large bunch of keys rattling around the ignition switch is not healthy for the keyway in the long term.
Finally, from a London perspective, it is not unknown for someone to grab your ignition key from the bike whilst you are stopped at lights etc, so possibly even consider a way to keep the key from being easily taken. I use a small lanyard with a carabiner around the bars, so if the key is removed, or falls out, it cant get far..

Another "slightly different but related perspective"....reminds me of a silly prank we did when really young (and really stupid). At night, we would quickly ride along a biking mate and reach over and remove his ignition key. He had no option but to roll to a stop with no lights and apply foul language.  :156: Fortunately lost youth and (some) lost stupidity has put that prank into better perspective.  :151:
