K-tech front fork internals issue
« on: June 17, 2021, 07:14:15 PM »
Hi there
I am currently being driven mad by this issue, I got some ktech fork internals fitted to my 800 xc 2012 forks. They work beautiful except for when the forks rebound to the full extension there is a massive bar shaking clunk as they top out. Most noticeable Off road when the front wheel comes off the ground.
I'm positive the stock showa forks didn't have any issue like this.
They have been back to ktech who replaced parts and say they can't see an issue, the second I got them back I pulled them by hand and the clunk, in my opinion, is blindingly obvious as if the top out spring is doing absolutely nothing.
Has anyone else had these internals and come across a similar issue?
