Completely forgot to reply to my question, what an @rs*.. Anyway didn't go for it in the end, was a bit short on cash so thought i'd see what happens long term. my 1200 explorer had a new rear brake calliper fitter under warranty and the lower engine casing replaced due to the paint coming off. Wont go into detail about it as I did post about it here at the time. Was hoping the new 900 would be made of sterner stuff but unfortunately..... (Cue post in the servicing section...)

Interestingly on purchasing my GT Pro I noticed that in the UK an extended warranty was available and looked into it but here in NZ it's not available I took it up with Triumph NZ who said they would look into it but am still waiting although unsure if I would take it up. I do like the German idea though!

Just remember, bottom line, included or optional extra .... nothing comes for free.
