Lakes Tour ....
« on: July 16, 2021, 09:41:46 PM »
Had a Fab ride around the Lake District yesterday

Took the Ferry across Windermere :

Heading over to Wrynose Pass

Dropping Down the other side ... that's Hardknott in the background so did that as well..

Headed over to Wasdale as I had not been there before..

Headed to the end and a nice view from the beer garden.... Scarfell Pike is hidding behind there...

Time to head home ... so I chose more roads new to me ... turned out quite nice too ..

Have to say ... me Tiger does encourage me to seek pastures new ...

Hi felix.
Nice pictures.
And I agree about what the bike does for us.
Keep at it.

Thanks Felix, if only the Lake District was always that bright and sunny.

Cheers all ....

Must be Fab to live there .... and yea... the weather makes a huge difference ... last time I did Hardknott was in fog and sod all visibility ... I hated it.

Must admit that Hardnott gets worse every time I do it ... road surface is pants ... and now plenty of new potholes .... alas some on steep / cambered hairpins .... just where you don't need them !
I was lucky... no cars ... would have been a mare if there was traffic...

Anyhow ..... morel of the story is ... get out there & enjoy it .... plenty to see and do in this country while we can't go abroad ...

It's amazing what we have on our doorstep... we don't have to look too far ...

Oh ... and post up ya pics and story .... I for one look forward to seeing and reading ....
