Hi there. New Tiger owner 't20racerman' here
« on: July 20, 2021, 08:32:46 AM »
Hi all
Just bought a 2019 XRT Tiger. I don't normally have bikes like this  - I'm into old Brit and fast & furious bikes, but have quite bad arthritis, need to do a bit of two-up touring in comfort, and take luggage too.

Picked up the bike and rode home 200 miles. First impressions:

Bad
- sluggish
- rubbish front brake
- very noisy at speed

Good
- Great luggage capacity
- Cruise control is a revelation for my arthritic hands. Absolutely wonderful
- Comfy
- Huge petrol tank/range (My KTM 660 SMC holds 9 litres....)

Hoping to improve the bad and enjoy the good :-)

Own several old/impractical bikes  - so bought a Tiger XRT to do some touring in comfort.
