For those with a good memory, hello again. For recent converts to the T800, Hi I’m Mark from Marks Motorcycle Parts.
I run my own small business, based on Anglesey, writing and selling motorcycle maintenance manuals and selling a small range of accessories.
You may remember my book for the Mk1 bikes. Over the past few weeks I’ve been putting together a new, much bigger book for the Mk2 and Mk3 bikes. It covers all the XR and XC variants and runs to 152 pages with 119 pictures. It covers all maintenance required, for both the mileage and annual services.

Haynes – I print on far better quality paper than they do and make an effort for all photos to be large and well presented with plenty of numbers and arrows showing what to remove and in what order.
Also the Triumph factory – Their service literature is undeniably excellent, but it does assume quite a lot of knowledge and you can’t actually hold it in their hand, you have to buy a time-limited download.
I write for the home mechanic, offering a friendly arm around the shoulder and help & encouragement. Where you need a factory tool I tell you the work arounds and suggest ways to easily and cheaply make your own service tools. Bodywork removal is covered in some detail including the sizes of the bolts used for each panel.
My Mk2 & Mk3 book will be available from the start of Sept 2021, and I’m taking pre-orders now, at £20 plus post & packing (only available as a paper copy).
The book for the Mk1 bikes is still available, and because of reduced demand you can now buy this as a digital download.
Thanks for reading, Mark
