Sunday ride........
« on: August 17, 2021, 04:18:33 PM »
Hi all

As the format of the Megameet is going to be more like a Minimeet, the main event will be the socialising with friends and the rideout on Saturday.

I have penciled in a ride for Sunday that will leave the Metropole hotel and meander down to the Coldra roundabout (A449/M4 J24). There is a McDonalds there which could be the end of the ride prior to a quick access onto the M4 for your onward journey.

No pressure to attend the ride, if you have other plans.

Sorry Dai, thats the wrong way for me; Ill be heading East, with the sun on my back and a song in my heart.., When you come home again to Wales.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Some poems rhyme,
But this one doesnt.

Subject to the return plans of my riding partners (Rozzer, T800XC, Lang) count me in as it's totally in the right direction for the bridge. :028:

Cheers Dai. That could work quite nicely.

For the ride up, instead of the obvious route after Abergavenny via Talgarth and Builth Wells (which I've done quite a few times) I'm toying with the idea of heading slightly more north and going via Hay-on-Wye and Hundred House, coming in to Llandrindod Wells from the East. Assuming this isn't your Sunday route!

Probably not for us, though my decisions are notoriously non-executive  :018:
