5 Way electrical power outlet
« on: August 26, 2021, 09:16:36 AM »
I've recently updated my power outlet, available here:

Its completely safe with any Canbus system, and requires that you wire it directly to the battery terminals and one switched live feed which could be an existing 12v power socket, side lights, or number plate light wire.

It gives you 4 outputs supplying 5A and one output supplying 1A. All are protected by semiconductor self-healing fuses - no physical fuse needs changing after a short circuit - just fix the problem and turn the ignition on again and it'll provide power to your accessories.

The circuit board is coated to make it splashproof. It is designed to go behind a fairing panel or under the seat, water splashes will not affect its operation.

This new version has extra 0V terminals, to serve all your accessories instead of needing to run multiple wires directly back to the battery.

Thanks for reading, Mark
