I also have a 2016 XRx I swapped out the oem tyres for Metz Roadtec 01, 110/80 front. So impressed I ordered a set of the latest SE version for my 1050 to replace the PR4's, arrived next day, fitted yesterday. Supply no problem, top tyre imo, for hard top riding.
Current bikes Tiger800 XRx, Tiger Sport 1050, Ariel FH 650, Yam Serow 225.

How long did first set last?

I had 2 sets of PR4's on my 1050, 1st set did almost 12k miles, 2nd set just short of 8k miles. They done me out of 4k. Very strange.
