I would have to look under the seat of my 2017 model but the wires appear to have Japanese style bullet connectors fitted which I don't think Triumph use.  It would certainly be worth checking whether any of the wires are live when the ignition is switched on since, at the very least, the unplugged connectors would pose a short circuit risk. It would be interesting to know where the other ends of the cable go and whether they appear to emerge from the main wiring harness.

With the wires all being black, it might have been an alarm unit fitted??

There is a connector already for the alarm under the seat with a blanking plug fitted in most cases - if they were for this purpose then the wires would probably originate at this connector. The only other thing that comes to mind is that someone has fitted additional lights or indicators to a top box at some point :084:

The ones with the green and yellow tag look like the secondary output for an Datatool alarm. If that's what it is then it's for an additional siren if required. It should become live when the alarm sounds.

Wondering if the other wires are for a secondary trigger input for the alarm ??  :084:

OP needs to say whether he has (or had) an alarm or not ?

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Bike was new, no mods no added wires/lights, I have already added a Triumph alarm, which as stated above was PnP to connector already there.

Not currently near my paperwork but if you have the Triump/Datatool alarm AIR they provide wires that you can use to alarm accessories. For example in addition to leaving your full face helmet on the provided hook under the seat you can loop and connect the wires to form an alarmed circuit.

Also owned my 1979 Bonnie T140E from new!

It's difficult to see clearly from the photo but do the wires in question originate from the alarm that has been fitted?

I have already added a Triumph alarm, which as stated above was PnP to connector already there.

Then it's almost certainly what I said and part of the alarm harness. Datatool provide the alarms for Triumph btw  :038:

This pic is of one of the alarms (albeit for another model) but you can clearly see the wires that you have:
