Use "UNREAD" in the panel at top right hand corner.

I’ve always scrolled down the page while viewing the symbol just to the left of the text columns. When there are unread posts in a category, the colour of that symbol used to be highlighted in blue but is now black instead of ‘greyed out’. Not quite so easy to pick out but still possible. If it’s a category that I’m interested in then I click on it and only the unread posts in that category are displayed. I can choose which of those posts I want to read and/or click on ‘Mark Read’ if I want to ignore them.

I have always used the 'new posts...' link so was pleased to find that scrolling to the bottom of the page reveals 'recent topics' which amounts to the same thing (I think).

    But this one doesn’t.

I don't like it either, it seems aimed more at the mobile platforms, but I find it very in your face on the desktop pc. I suspect we are in the minority, will have to get used to it.

Changes happen, we, as humans are all to comfortable in the old or familiar.

Such reactions happen far to often with posters here on just buying the bike (seat too hard/uncomfortable, not enough power, brakes are (*&^(&*, need to repalce the brake lines with stainless steel braided and so on). But oddly enough they don't seem to go out and ride, learn to commune with the new ride. Its different, but what else did you expect. you have just changed your bike for some reason and now you are whinging, sorry complaining that the new bike is NOT the same as the old bike that you just traded in for some reason.

I doubt Admin made change for the heck of it. they have multiple bike related forums and it must bne an effin nightmare to maintian if they all have different codebases.

As far as I can see. The changes are not that significant. Functionality is no different. So I would expect everyone to get familar with any changes very quickly.

just as an aside I quite like the dark theme, in my books its much more relaxing on the eye  :028:
If anyone else whats to try themes out have a look at the top right third item in from the right (assuming you are using a computer browser). No idea what it looks like on a mobile though
