Hi folks, left the 800 forum in March 2021 after buying a new T120 Bonneville. Sadly, I have just not got on with it at all and almost from day one regretted losing my 2011 roadie. It was without doubt the best bike I have owned and served up many European trips, 2 up, without any problems whatsover for nearly 11 years. So exactly 12 months on the bonnie is being traded in on 1st March for a new 2022 reg Tiger 900 GT in RED. The new bike is being delivered a couple of weeks before so I can fit it out with my Garmin 660 satnav,  a new set of givi panniers racks and top box converter plate to take the boxes I bought for the Bonnie. I know they won't have the adventure look about them but they will have to do until I can save the pennies for some adventure boxes I will be fitting a switched fuse block for my electric accessories  and will be searching the forum for a few tips on switched connection points.I have read problems could cause fault codes if the battery is disconnected which I will need to do to fit my optima charger and direct power supply to the new fuseblock so I am going to ask the dealer to give me an optimate connector as well as a positive and negative flying leads off the battery to avoid me disconnecting the battery.Wonder if anyone has had problems with this.

Hi and welcome back, have a look at the Healtech Thunderbox. Best bit of electrical kit I ever bought. I have moved it from bike to bike over the years and has never let me down. Simply connect to the battery and decide whether you want it to activate after engine start or after key switched on. The simplest and easiest way to connect accessories IMO.

Thanks for that. I have got a fuse block and relay from my old 800 tiger to reuse. I looked at the Healtech Thunderbox some time ago and agree it would do a great job but they are pretty expensive. :763:

My old 800 was brilliant, my new T120 Bonnie was not very good so if the 900 is as good as my old 800 I will be way over the moon. This 900 will be for a long keep and almost certainly my last bike.
