Help engine managment light

Going away to moz to oban just changed my air filter and now the engine manigment light wont go off .Think I have turned on the ignition while in bits .Bike still runs ok .
Going to be doing g a few Miles over 3 days

Turning the ignition on with the tank off will have caused that. Don't worry as it should clear after 3 heat cycles.

Run the engine, let it warm up (ride it) then let it cool down and repeat.

Think iam sorted turn key on  let it go through the set up then turn off do this 3 times .Light has gon out thank you all so much life savers

That's interesting. The book says the bike should be cycled through to running  temperature and back to cold three times. It seems you've been able to do it by just cycling the key on and off. If that's the case ---good find!
