I feel for you as I went down the cancer road in 2009.  Had to park my lovely Tiger 1050 for about two years while my body healed. As it was I just never got to use that bike as much as I would have liked but life went on. I did heal up over time and now, many years later, am still riding. While not as much as in the past I do still love my time on my new 900 Tiger.
So, I hope you find it possible to continue to overcome and move on. The "little" Kaw is a good machine and as they say, "The best motorcycle is the one you are riding at the moment".

Not for me though I’ve coped with prostate cancer got rid of my gsa 1200 tractor and feel my new tiger 800 ok for me to cope with ( just) But what got me through the cancer thing was waiting for my trip home from the freeman cancer clinic in Maggies respite centre I got talking to some of the gals in there some who had gone through much more the me I remember telling my friends from fishy land (Peterhead) guys I thought we had balls but most of these gals taught me I didn’t and boy did they make an impression, bless them.
