Tiger 900 seat lowering itself during ride

This happened to me now three times :during the ride the rider seat slides down into the lower position. The back riser slides out of the top position. Not nice when you're going through a bend. I tried to fix it with two zip tiers hope this will help.

Is just my bike or does someone else out there experienced the same problem? The rubber bend which is supposed to keep the riser in place seems to be OK now idea why this happens.

Have you fitted the seat correctly?
I had issues where the front of the seat was moving and it turned out the seat was not located correctly.
The easiest way to explain is to locate the front lug in the high or low position then raise the rear of the seat before hitting the centre of the rear of the seat hard with the palm of your hand to push it firmly into place before lowering the rear of the seat into position.

Not had an issue since I used this method

If the seat mount is the same arrangement as the 800 it is quite easy to think that the seat is located correctly when it is not.
