service plans

Hello all,
I am new here, have ordered my 850sport which I should have in the next two weeks. My beloved launch edition Explorer is going to a new home
My question is does anyone have experience of the various service plans triumph offer, are they likely to be good value?
I had my Tex for 10 years so I suspect this might be my last new bike, so I need it to last
Just for the record, the Tex had one leaky fork seal in ten years, that is all that ever went wrong

This thread is 4yrs old but might give you an insight, I paid for a 3yr plan what some were being quoted for a single 12k service. So, IMO, definitely worth enquiring on the plans and separate servicing prices depending on your potential needs, costs nothing to ask.

Back then it was purely service plans but I believe there are now also extended warranty plans,

Thanks for the info and welcome. I am going into the dealership tomorrow to talk turkey about prices. I am already a little put out to be charged extras fitting at £100 per hour, nice work if you can get it. On the other hand, my sister and my best friend are waiting the results of biopsies for the big C, so what the hell, don't tell triumph but I am going to sign the deal anyway.

That sucks.

Dealers vary and times and state of the economy so I don't know the current policy of my local Triumph dealer but on both my 2013 Street Triple and 2015 Tiger purchases all accessories purchased at the same time as the bikes were fitted FOC as part of the PDI and also had 10% discount applied.
