Unsubtle Product Placement??

Last night's final episode of the Australian show "Neighbours" had a return of Guy Pierce wearing a familiar logo ( to us anyway) on his motorcycle jacket.
Is this a well paid product placement or just Guy trying to be cool? You decide!

I don't think he's confused, I think he has a good agent that understands the rewards of product placement.

He has been up our way the last few days filming a Disney+ series based around The Family. Might have to borrow our sons subscription when it is released to see all the local landmarks on the TV.

I’m picking that the series is based in the mid 1970s to 1990 type period so I would need a Meriden union built Bonneville to be period correct.

You might think that, but on closer examination you will see that his logo wasn't made until 1990.
So, do we have a TV time warp here?

In 1990....  only the font of the inscription was changed. Now it was an acute-angled font, the line emanating from the letter ‘R’ also smoothly merged into the middle line of ‘H’, but already on the left side, without touching the letters between them.
