    The lad who owns this XC i'm tortured with took one out last week, couldn't get his foot under the gear-lever, had to use edge of his boot.

    He's not huge-footed or stiff-jointed, said levers all looked low on bikes at shop. Spoiled it for him  :027:

    He should've turned round and asked them to raise it.

    He wants a second bike to remind him (-ish) of his XT600, but ruled these out now, not just for the gear-lever.
