    Tiger 900 - rear fender/hugger

The protection against dirt, mud and muck from the back wheel of the Tiger 900 GT Pro is not very good. Half an hour of rain and my panniers, the top box, the number plate are covered with dirt of all sorts. I have closed the stupid hole in the rear fender with a plastic bit printed by a 3D printer, at least the top box does not get that much of dirt now.

So what are the options? There is the PUIG Fender S:

    https://www.louis.de/artikel/puig-hinterradabdeckung-schwarz-klappbar-windschnittig/10008050

a tyre hugger in combination with a new chain guard, anyone out there using this, what are your experiences with that?

There is something similar von Powerbronze:

    https://powerbronze.de/verkleidung/hinterradabdeckung/202027/hinterradabdeckung-triumph-tiger-900/tiger-900-gt/tiger-900-rallye-2020

.. found a distributor here in Germany so this might work as well, the actual fender looks slightly longer than the PUIG but the pictures may be mislading, comments on this please...

Louis is offering something called BODYSTYLE:

    https://www.louis.de/artikel/bodystyle-hinterradabdeckung-blackline-matt-schwarz-mit-abe/10009350

..slightly more expensive than the other two, does not look much different to me

and there is the Givi RM6415KIT:

    https://www.motor-corner.de/givi-rm6415-montagesatz-givi-rm01-und-rm02-kotflugel-triumph-tiger-900-gt-pro-rallye.html

..which looks rather similar to me what the BMW GS bikes have. Does this do the trick?

    I need you comments guys…

I have the pyramid hugger, whilst it doesn’t stop all the spray, I think it looks the best!

I have the Givi spray guard and it really is brilliant. I had it on my first 900 and now my new one also has it. Money very well spent.

I think the Givi part looks ugly.

    I have this part -- https://pyramid-plastics.co.uk/collections/triumph/products/pyramid-shock-shield-matte-black-triumph-tiger-900-gt-pro-2020

bought from the China man for little money. But it should only protect the strut from dirty water.

Thanks gang, this post encouraged me to do a 'picture search' and have come up with this. Just placed an order so can't provide any feedback. Designed for a CRF1000 Honda. if the link doesn't work. Clean design.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/225497288603

Fingers crossed it will sit in the chain adjuster rail with little or no modification. Then it's a matter of establishing the required length of the arms, centering on the tyre and securing to the mount. Just over $100 Oz with Sales Tax and Exchange from $US.

I got the Puig and it works pretty well. Also plugged the hole, still trying to figure out what Triumph thought was behind that.

The Puig looked far to short. I ordered the pyramid. I fitted it today. I'll wait to see how effective it is.

I fitted the Powerbronze, which I think has the best coverage. But then I hate cleaning, so I have also fitted the Pyramid Extra fender extender on the front.
