    Sorry all for being a bit slow to update this thread.
    Repaired ECU now fitted to the bike, reg/rec tested to be putting out a peak of 14.4V and bike running properly again.
    Thanks to all for the help and input, much appreciated.

    This must be the first time a failure of an ECU has been reported on the forum and I think you did incredibly well to find a firm who could repair it :031:

    Yeah it’s a very unusual failure by all accounts, but the company who tested and repaired the unit are called Carmo incase anyone ever has need for their services. Fantastic company to deal with; they’re based in Harlem, Netherlands but have a uk depot so you don’t have to worry about international postage. The whole operation came in at just under £300 including postage each way. Highly recommended.
