Author Free riding maps in the USA (Read 970 times)

I'm aware we all use satnav & Google maps etc to get from A to B, but l find it interesting to look at the various State road maps that are free at every tourist center, & some ( if not most ) States will actually mail you one & any other routes more relevant to bikers.
Pressing a few buttons & setting off on a road trip is exciting yes, but to be able to sit & look at the different routes available is, to me, far more satisfying, & l usually end up modifying any route that interests me, which makes it even more fun!

I never said anything about it being free. I just said that that resource was available.

I'm not looking for a handbag fight mate, but the main topic of the thread was to highlight FREE maps, everyone knows you can buy maps!
