    So I did a check on privacy rights and street photography and the legal side is much more diverse than I thought:
    UK and Australia generally allow that but have restricitions in areas where you can expect privacy
    Germany and France: no pics without consent unless you take pictures of a big crowd or the person is a celebrity out of the "safe privacy zone"

    Life is too short to drink bad wine or to ride bad bikes.

    There are no restrictions on being photographed in any public place in Australia, in fact if my house faced the street and I was standing inside the house visible in the window somebody standing on the street could quite legally take a photo of the house with me clearly in the photo and there is nothing I could do about it.
