Warranty.
« on: January 05, 2011, 03:13:56 PM »
I've just had a look at Triumphs T&Cs for their 2 year warranty (UK version) that gives me cause for concern.
Apart from the usual exceptions, they seem to be ignoring EU regulations and suggesting that warranties will be invalid if you dont use  the Triumph dealership network for servicing.I also read and that an example of "misuse" which would invalidate a warranty claim would be to "use of the motorcycle that is not normal road use".The Tiger is supposed to be designed for a challenging offroad enviroment albeit not a competition one,so that "normal road use" sounds like a getout clause.

I tried to compare these T&Cs with US warranty T&Cs but i couldn't find anything on the Triumph US website.
Anyone got a link to US T&Cs?.
