Food - group meals are fine (especially if its steak n ale or Kate n Sydney pie)

Quiz/Award ceremony - could be fun, so yes.

Talks  - yes, both if possible. (would there be a charge/fee?)

The talk is free, except for the cost of a meal with us. If agreeable, we can fund out of the proceeds from the T shirts. If not , it will cost us about a £1 each.

The guys are willing to give up their time on a Saturday night so hopefully, there is enough interest. I accept that green-laning isn't everyone's interest, ... it wasn't mine until I tried it (in my late 40's) and was surprised how much fun it was. Now I enjoy both road and off -road riding. You'd be surprised how much fun you can have a 20 mph, and it doesn't hurt or cost anything when you fall off (well, most of the time).

This talk will be about off road biking in the Lakes past & present, plus you'll learn something about how the TRF is trying to protect our interests as motorcyclists. No harm in that.

Quiz : All in favour. 1 didn't respond

Speaker : 10 in favour  (I took the 4 "not fussed but I 'll go with the  flow" as a yes)

Suggest quiz be a team effort (will help getting aquainted ....and spares any embarrassment of being thick).
Will contact hotel to firm up group food options
Have sent a mail to Steve Dighills to book him (and his mate Robert Wilson) for a 1 hour slot on Saturday evening.

Just the food to sort now. (Due to the numbers, the deal is, we give the hotel a guide on the food order in advance. PLEASE can you help me sort this with minimal hassle).

I will post more details on menu options next week, all you need to do is confirm (promptly) what you want.

I will probably go with group grub unless something really stands out on the main menu , any of the social stuff should be good
