It's from a birthday card my daughter sent me a few years ago, her other classic was "beneath this dynamic exterior lies a boring old fart in slippers" at 29 she's now given up on me  :001:

I'd been wondering where this "Dora" thing came from. Then, on holiday in Canada recently, I was flicking through the TV channels and there it was......"Dora the Explorer" cartoon. It all fell into place. Good name. Almost rhyming slang. I like it.

Yeah, I think it was designed to fire shells across the English channel. How they ever knew if they hit anything I don't know. I don't know if it's the same but there's a pretty big gun in a museum near Calais.

The best name that I've heard so far is The Lancaster!  :007:

Or, more specifically, Lancaster: Phantom of the Ruhr.....

Six degrees of separation (or less), Lancaster, designed by Reginald Mitchell, Reginald Mitchell Way Stoke-on-Trent (birthplace of said RJM), main (and only) motorcycle dealer just off RM Way, Staffordshire Triumph, my local dealer.

So, you're all related to me and may God have mercy on your souls ('cos nobody else gives a feck)  :008:
