Thanks for that burgerking.  Just checked that link and it tells me there is an outstanding service bulletin or recall on my Tiger.  Haven't heard a thing from the dealer as yet!  Be onto him first thing Monday. :003:

Just phoned dealer about possible recall.  He hasn't heard a thing yet from Triumph, and was completely unaware of any recall issues at present.  He thought this surprising as any service bulletins issued by Triumph come out like a shot.  He has undertaken to follow this up with Triumph and if he has no luck today (being Saturday) will do so first thing Monday morning and get back to me.  I'll keep the post updated as things pan out.

cunestu's was a walk in off the shop floor order from his dealer in Northern Ireland.... soemthing that I was told wasnt' allowed, wasn't going to happen and so on.....
IIRC went for a test ride, decided whihc oine he liked, picked it up the following day....

so perhaps there are some drawnbacks to being so fortunate  :007:

Thanks for this reply!

So, I guess the fault only affected early production models?

This is what I (and I believe many others) would like to know.
