Hi all,

Update on recall situation:
Dealer got back to me within the hour and confirmed my T8 is subject to a recall.  Apparently the problem relates to the bolts on the battery box and exhaust end caps which can loosen through vibration and just need to be tightened down.  A minor job that should take no more than 30 minutes.  As mine has not been ridden yet much there's no big panic, just have to call in some day when it suits me to get it sorted.  There was no mention of any other service bulletins/recalls relating to anything more major, ie sump replacement.  Hopefully it'll stay that way....

and to have the guts to do a recall, for something so small could have just been picked up at the first service. Can't be to many bike out there that have had the first service already. The ones that have could have just been down to the dealers to contact.
