    good post Greaseweasel, I agree.

I also mean no offence with my comments too  :123:

Photography is only part of what goes to make an image and the work I am involved with revolves around full comps for pages and process them in particular order.
Some of the comps develop to maybe 100 or more layers and multiple images from a variety of sources and it is easier to track the layers without any post production influences and control those later in the finals.

In the end I don't ever come on here to slag others work off - or to be disrespectful to others either. You are also right that this thread needs to be somewhere else - maybe a photographers forum  :008: :008: :008:

Doh, you just beat me to it Andy.  I was about to say whilst you photography geeks get all excited about the pro's and con's of RAW and JPEG thingamebobs, underlayers, overlayers & outerlayers, ... some of us haven't a friggin clue what you're on about.
So , before you carry on with endless paragraphs on how the technology has moved and how in future we can slot heat-sensitive memory cards up our backsides and watch images on the insides of our eyelids , I'm glad you've finally spotted  the obvious .....

     :451: :451: :451:

Not sure how many mega pixels that is, but looks clear enough to me.......... :001: :001:

Sometimes JPG engines introduce noise, Also RAW is better for colour temp correction , espeically if doing underwater stuff. But then again my tiger hasn't been underwater "yet". On holiday stuff on a bike I tend to use a little panasonic TZ thingy , big DSLR take up to much room.

I thought it was about how good a picture will look printed to go in a calendar, not theorising about what it might look like on screen  :138:

    Well you did ask  :150:
