Rough sounding tiger and cut out!
« on: October 07, 2012, 09:15:30 PM »
Hi all,

I bought my tiger in August and it had its 6000 mile/1year service. I've just completed a 2500 mile trip in Europe through 9 countries. Decent fuels stops with quality clean 95 Ron petrol.

Got back yesterday to Edinburgh and everything was peachy.

Started her up today and she sounds rougher than a badgers a$$.

Sounds like she's running on two cylinders and has trouble idling and sometimes cuts out. I've read topics about stepper motors and ecu 12 min runs etc but still not sure.

She'll get from a to b but there's definitely a power reduction and fairly worried its mechanical... Plenty of oil trom the window thing and decent voltage from the reg/rec.

Anything obvious I should be looking at?

Has an arrow can but not sure about ecu software version.
