Finally got round to fitting the Oxford Hotgrips I bought months ago. Not too bad,  but adapting the plate holding the controller was a bit of a mission. Turned out the "plug" to the heated grips connector by the rad was actually a male connector. Just needed a couple of female pins and job done.

Also fitted a Fenda Extenda. Hopefully will keep a bit of crud off the engine and pipes.

I had the same problem on my KTM, and gave up with the crappy Oxford plate.
I used an old pedal cycle rear reflector mount with a couple of larger self-tappers:

It also enabled me to locate the controller nearer to where it was useful:

That's very neat - I think I'll copy you! Much nicer than the heath-robinson affair with the Oxford plate! Thanks

Having the 24k service done by Muddy Sump today. At the mo, my girl is largely in bits on the garage floor.
Give a man a fish and he'll demand chips, a six pack of stella, 20 fags and a scratch card to go with it. Make him do some work for his fish. He'll aporeciate it more.

Brilliant skies, that's a beautiful area, me & the missus rode the Pyrenees back in 2002 from Cadaques to St Jean-de-Luz. But in warmer weather. Stopped off at Bonansa & Ochagavia on route.

The road was a bit dodgy in parts for a ST955 two up with full camping kit..
