Repaired the heated grip wiring loom 2013 ABS 800.

It had not been installed as per Triumph instructions (Laguna Ashford) so was abraded down to the copper on three conductors.
Wrapped insulating tape rund each one and some heatshrink over that.
Fog lights installed at the same time so maybe need re-routing.

Had to put the baffle back in though after it gave me a headache 10 minutes into the ride.

Agree, too loud without the baffle.

Nice throaty sound with though.

Fitted a Unifilter pre-filter for the airbox last weekend.  Bought it online and it was delivered to my door in a coupla' days.  Good service from Steve at Adventuremoto and highly recommended.

https://www.adventuremotorcycle.com.au/bike-make/triumph/tiger-800xc/air-filter/unifilter-triumph-tiger-800-xcx-xrx-pre-filter.html

Installed easily with the help of this excellent video.  Hardest part was getting the slot moulded into the rubber boot on the end of the pre-filter to slot snugly into the rear of the main airbox.  It is CRUCIAL this is checked carefully.

But removing the long dress panel (the one with 'Tiger 800' moulded into it) from the LHS made access a bit easier, plus a decent torch to check it was fully home and seated all around the full perimeter of the mounting rubber.

Time taken from seat off to seat back on and test run was only about 40 mins, including finding and watching the YT clip a coupla' times, taking it slowly and enjoying the serene solitude of some good shed time .
