People use snow foam because it helps remove dirt by softening / agitating and then you pressure wash off before doing a normal wash. Most are PH neutral so they dont strip the wax off. The reason most use it is that there is less contact with the paint during the initial wash and hence causes much less paint damage when you use a mitt/sponge to do the final wash.

Snowfoam doesnt have the outright cleaning power that grease/oil needs. That said, i do use it on my bike.

It is much better on a car due to the larger painted areas.

Cleaned bike after my 1900 mile Spain and Portugal trip and had the infamous gear linkage pin fault sorted by mobile mechanic.

Bernadette is now ready for our 2 week jaunt to France in 4 weeks time :123:

Got my second "immobiliser fault" which cleared after restarting the bike like the 1st time. Took it to the dealer who said they cleared codes and updated the ECU which may fix the issue. They said not to worry about it and it's not uncommon.
